Well, this is going to be a very short column as there are no new releases, nor are any going wide into a theater near me. This being the last weekend, half weekend at least, of 2005, it is time to catch up on those releases that we have not yet seen. We need to prepare for the other films that will be opening or expanding as we near Oscar time.
The two new releases, neither near me, are:
- Match Point
- The Matador
Next week there will be more to talk about as we get the initial releases of 2006.
