Will the candy shop help lift this into another victory over the same weekend last year? who knows and who cares. All I care about is seeing a good movie.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I love Tim Burton's work and I love Johnny Depp's work, and they always seem to work well together. There seems to be mixed early word regarding the quality of the film, but I am definitely looking forward to seeing it. I like the look of the film, I like how it doesn't try to mimic the earlier film. We shall see.
Wedding Crashers. A low brow comedy, and one that is rated R for a change. I like both Vaughn and Wilson, and this looks pretty funny, if insubstantial.
Me and You and Everyone We Know. I just saw a trailer for this, it looks funny and quirky, both are good. It tells the story of a couple of lonely people attempting to make a connection. I wasn't planning on seeing this, but the trailer has convinced me to go.
