It occurs to me that the reviewer has brilliantly figured out a way to get many people to watch this film. By slamming in the very personally attacking way he has, maligning an entire religion, he sparks greater interest. Then when someone like me watches, when i never would have done so otherwise, my enjoyment in watching this wonderfully done movie is multiplied. I could watch this many times over. Thank you "DuctapeFatwa" (the name alone should have given the joke away!), you have opened my eyes to a wonderful movie and the true beauty in religion.

I am not a Mormon. I am a Christian, so my opinion is not based on a prejudicial side of liking it because it's about the Mormon faith. I did enjoy this movie very much. I thought the acting was excellent. BC should think about getting someone else to do their reviews.

I liked the movie. Btw (if you didn't already know) it was based on the book written by the real John Groberg, so most of it is fact, icluding spending the four days isolated to learn the Tongan language, and the rats eating his feet. As far as him saving himself for his future wife, what is so bad about that? She is surely a blessed woman.

Wow-- nice clean movie-- It took me til the end to figure out the old minister was any denomination at all.
But the truly funny part if that Kolipoki never mentions Joseph Smith, the Book of Mormon, or the fact that Mormons thinking Jesus and Satan were brothers, that Jesus was the offspring of Momma and Papa God-- instead they stuck to the Bible and unless you caught the BYU connection and mentions of mormon-- you might have thought the LDS was an actual Christian religion instead of the deceptive cult that it is.
BTW-- rats eating uncovered feet? Never sleep naked!
