Movie Review: The International - Page 2

In all honesty, when I sat down to watch The International, I wasn’t completely sure what to expect and after the first ten minutes or so, I wasn’t entirely sure that I was going to enjoy the movie. The presentation seemed a bit strained and I was not completely impressed with the acting. However, after getting into the movie, all of that changed—the acting fell into place and the storyline played out very well.  Both Salinger and Whitman are intelligent and likeable characters and the chemistry between the actors plays out very well onscreen. Also worth mentioning is the fact that the movie does not start off slowly, but with a quick sucker punch of action that sets up the entire movie.

Overall, The International puts a great spin on the world of “what ifs” and will leave viewers satisfied in the end. There is action, adventure, thrills, suspense and conspiracy all rolled into one worthwhile watching movie.
