Movie Review: September Dawn - Comments Page 6

This is a most impressive film, extracting facts from the history of religious terrorism on U.S. soil...

On September 11, 1857, a devastating and controversial real life massacre of 120 men, women, and children took place in Mountain Meadows, Utah. This film integrates a romantic drama in a Romeo and Juliet-type love story to set a backdrop for a tragedy wrought by religious fanaticism.…

    Oh yeah,

    I forgot to mention...

Joseph Smith is a false prophet. According to the Bible if even one prophecy you make is false then you are a false prophet. Bro Jo and Brigham Young believed that there were people living on the moon who were tall, lived a thousand years, and dressed like Quakers. They even said that people lived on the sun!!!!

Put up your Book of Mormon and get a copy of the Chronicles of Narnia. Its a better read, and closer to reality than that waste of paper you guys pack around. What a sad fate for a tree. I sure am glad you guys are mostly in Utah. The next time mormon missionaries knock on my door at 9am on a saturday I'm gonna turn the hose on them.

    Oh yeah,

    And just one more thing...

I don't know what is worse......
    Mormons or Jehovah's Witness.

You are Apostates and Blasphemers. That is about the only thing that EVERY real Christian denomination can agree on.

I don't know what planet FELIX the cat flew in from, but he needs to talk to Chris about nonsense. They have something in commom.

Although if Felix feels a bit better about himself after spouting-off his mouth at Mormons, than let him do so. It doesn't hurt any of us. He seems to be the one hurting in side from his sudden outbursts of anger...only words. I often wonder what make some people go to such extremes to express themselves. However, I have to work for a living and haven't the time to talk to angry people.

Michael D ...maybe you can communicate with these guys. You seem to be the only one here who has the patience to so. Good luck

    Bye now :))

    Felix,

Can't you spell Jesus Christ? How rude of you. You need to quit mixing Jesus Christ up with that of Satan. It's obvious who you really whorship. Are you certain that you and Chris are not one of the same? I mean body tranformation or something. Satan has away of doing scary things like that.

This definitely my last visit here. Maybe I will talk to Angel and Michael D on another blog.

The only thing that is obvious is that Mormons worship a pychotic religion that was inspired and founded by non other than Lucifer himself. You are altogether deceived. The Bible warned us that in the end times there would be many "false prophets" and your Joseph Smith is one of them. He is an Apostate of Hell and his master is the Dragon himself.

The Bible casts down your Mormon beliefs in so many places. What you believe is blasphemy. Tell me about your burning in the bossom. The Bible tells us that the human heart is altogether corupt and that it cannot be trusted.

If you care for a theological debate then bring it on. Your false beliefs can't endure Bible Truth. My Bible has not been corrupted. The Bible says that the gospel is forever and will never be lost. Jesus established his Church for ALL TIME and like Chris said the gates of hades shall not prevail against it. That means that we didn't need the false prophet Joseph Smith to reestablish the priesthood. Only Jesus can hold the priesthood.

I wish that Mormons would stop pretending to be Christian. Your religion has more in common with Islam or Buddhism than true Christianity. You slander God and Jesus Christ when you utter their names.

    Felix or Chris,

Have you now become a God, to make such a judgment of others and their religion. Why do you choose to constanly slam Mormons. Don't you have something better going on in your life than to pursue this worthless cause of yours? You are bellligerent and trying to wage a useless war. I'm sorry for you. It's obvious who your true master is... Satan!

It's quite interesting to see how some people beat their thick skulls against the bricks to try to prove a religion wrong, in which they have little knowledge of. Nobody cares! I certainly don't. If you don't like the Mormons than go preach your strange beliefs to someone who may want to listen to you. No one here is asking you for your unworthy advise on Mormonism, Mr. Chris/Felix almighty! Your concepts and belligerance against the Mormon faith is not phazing what I believe in.. whatsoever! Why are you wasting your precious time here if you are so rightous and believe we are all doomed to go to hell. Go use your EDUCATION for a better cause instead of setting around condeming others.

    Angel-

What is your problem? Are you infallible? I suppose you must make mistakes just like every other human being. I thought this was a blog about the Mountain Meadows Massacre and I was disapointed to read down to the bottom of the page and see that it has morphed into some kind of religious debate.

What ever it is that you think you are trying to say, I know what I have read. For an hour now I have been reading the blog and I find that your comments are amongst the most hostile. You falsly attacked and critized Chris without justification and resorted to some extremely childish insults and character assassinations. You didn't even have your facts strait. Didn't you accuse him of being a Fancher or something like that and of defaming your family without any indication that he was in fact doing so?

You dished out some pretty vindictive comments back there. From what I read Chris was very polite through the majority of this blog. It was not until near the end of his comments that he became more combative. Even then I think most of what he said was in reply to the nasty comments of others such as yourself.

The bulk of his comments were calm and unoffensive at least until he seems to have got tired of your antagonism. I'm really suprised that he stuck around this blog so long. Since you seem to know so much about morality why don't you examine your own words and attitude and tell everybody how well you think this reflects upon your faith. Do you feel that your comments and conduct here are a credit to your peers or would they be frowned upon.

I don't know anything about Mormons but in my church, the Greek Orthodox Church, a person who behaved as you have would be called malicious and extremely prideful. You accuse Chris and others of attack but isn't that what you have been doing all along? You actually compared some of the people on this blog with Hitler and the Nazi's. You said:

    (#66 " September 16, 2007 @ 14:39PM " Angel)
"This kind of reminds me of HITLER'S propaganda."

I think Chris was right when he said that you clearly don't know what evil is if you so casually call those who disagree with you Nazi's. Apparently you believe that anyone who is still angry about the massacre or who thinks that church leaders was involved is out on some kind of crazy quest for bloody revenge. You said:

    (#66 " September 16, 2007 @ 14:39PM " Angel)

"It looks to me as well that these descendants of the Mountain Meadow Massacre group are out for some Mormon blood of decendants who were involved in the MMM."

How could say something so horrible? That was completely uncalled for. Interestingly enough that appears to have been perhaps your first comment.

Calling people crazy, stupid, or hateful because they don't agree with you on the Mountain Meadows Massacre seems like a pretty unchristian attitude. I would characterize it as malicious and hateful. You also are really quick to call someone an anti-mormon. Does thinking that the church leadership was involved in the massacre mean that someone is an anti-mormon? If someone disagrees with anything that your church says and dares to say what they believe does that mean that they are anti-mormon? If you don't agree with me should I believe that you are out to get me? That is just ridiculous.

Let me tell you a little bit about my ancestors. My fathers family is Greek and my mothers family is Armenian. Have you ever heard of the Armenian Holocaust? How about the Greek Holocaust? Over the course of a few decades the Turks murdered 15 million Armenian Christians. Over the course of three centuries they killed 20 million Greeks and other Christians in Asia Minor and Greece. In Constantinople which was arguably the center of the Christian world untold people were put to the sword when the Turks broke through the walls. That pretty much blows away the Jewish Holocaust now doesn't it? The worst of the Armenian Holocaust occurred during the First World War less than a century ago and the Turks will still not confess to this unimaginable attrocity. They actually deny that it ever happened in spite of the thousands of first hand accounts and a plethora photographs of Armenian cities, towns, and villages where every living soul was slaughtered!

The Turks say that the Armenians who died fell victim to disease or even that they killed each other. It is infuriating to know that my ancestors were brutally murdered by these people and they will not even admit to what happened and apologize. I don't want to kill any Turkish people because of what their ancestors did. I want them to face the truth of what happened. People need justice. Without justice we are just animals. Giving the Armenian people justice would change the world for the Armenian people. We could finally move on and forgive. Someday the Armenian and Turkish people might even be able to develop a genuine friendship and spirit of cooperation.

It is a terrible thing to carry around the hurt from something such as this. Angel, if you cannot understand that these people have a real hurt that it haunts them still to this day then you completely lack humility. Try to fathom what something like this feels like. You speak so violently towards those who allegedly persecuted your Mormon ancestors, why can't you understand the pain of these people. You slander them far too harshly when you attempt to call them mobbers or Nazi's. That is simply vile.

Nobody wants to hurt the Mormon people! It sounds very much like Mormons themselves are still having trouble with the past if they feel this way. You are far too quick to judge people. You were not even addressing me and yet you managed to offend me. People who leave comments like

Felix really don't need to be addressed. Most mature people simply ignore such comments. Your angry little come backs were full of venom and disdane. All you did was slander yourself and diminish your crediblity. However lowly his attacks were you seem to have had a far too easy a time descending down to his level. That makes me think that you and he are of a like feather. I truly feel embarraced for you. As you can see if you look at the other comments the more mature contributors abstained from such childish behavior. You should really try to learn from their example and attempt to conduct yourself with a bit more dignity.

    Angel,

I will tell you how I now deal with life. I used to, as they say, get my panties in a bunch. I don’t anymore. I am confident with my life and who I am. I try to learn something from everyone. I try to ignore barbs that are thrown at me.

I always enjoy watching Cheers and listening to the theme song:
    “Where Everybody Knows Your Name”

    “Sometimes you want to go

    Where everybody knows your name,
and they're always glad you came.
You wanna be where you can see,
our troubles are all the same
You wanna be where everybody knows
    Your name”.

Felix likes to go somewhere where everyone knows his name.

I was watching Monday Night Football the night that President Regan put his arm around John Lennon (Dating Myself) and explained American Football. Regan and Lennon could never agree on anything. That night they coexisted in peace. I think they both enjoyed the moment. It was caught on TV.

There is a book I’m reading “DON’T SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF, and it’s all small stuff. It has changed my life. Chris, I want you to get this book.

Chris, did you find the “Black Mormon” website. “Genesis” also has a website. Can you contact “Genesis” and tell us what they say?

    Chris,
Nice stunt! You are making up people on this blog now. You are Felix and PK. I'm not going to listen to anymore rubbish or poppycock nonesence.
Good day sir! Go cast stones at someone else if that is what floats your boat!

    Michael D,
I would love to talk to you a bit more, but I cannot put up with the evil intent of Chris and his multiple personalities above on this blog.

Thanks you, Michael for all your nice messages. Keep up your kindness with others, it works well.

Oh, I forgot to add that I analyze handwritings of people. I'm an expert and I can pick out a psychopath very easily.

I wont be back again. I have learned way too much from this blog.

Chris, perhaps you might try to learn some of Michael D's excellent, good behavior and kindness, while you hangout on this blog. This is my last message. Bye guys!
