Movie Review: Margot At The Wedding - Page 2

This extraordinary, raw, and funny film is very sharp and quick in the beginning, but slows down toward the end. The supporting cast — John Turturro as Jim (Margot's husband) and Ciaran Hinds as Dick (Margot's publisher/lover) — had limited screen time and dialogue, which I thought was a mistake. But it did not drastically hurt the plot. I'm sure these two fine actors could have contributed more, if given the chance.

This is film filled with intelligent performances and a real sense of comedy.

I cannot wait to see this movie! It sounds like something I would love. I've always liked Jennifer Jason Leigh and I like Nicole Kidman!
