Movie Review: Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs - Page 2

The point is kids won’t be worried about those details, and they shouldn’t be. Ice Age 3 is full of childish jokes, some fun action, and an simple morale they’ll be able to follow. Scrat, the little squirrel-like creature who is eternally chasing that ever elusive acorn, is back. While the children laugh at his antics there are a few things hidden in there for the adults to chuckle at too.

A weasel named Buck, voiced by Simon Pegg, livens up the movie when the entire group goes down to the dinosaur’s lair. Buck has been down there a long time and has gone a little crazy. Buck adds a little bit of adult humor to the film, but overall he’s another running gag to keep the children entertained.

Ice Age 3 is simplistic and not overly done. It’s fine kids fare and not much more. This isn’t Pixar folks, but it’s okay enough to warrant taking children to see it.

Comparing the movie to UP, Ice Age 3 is definitely more entertaining and the images are three times better than what Pixar has done. If you haven't seen either, Ice Age 3 is the movie to see.

Ice age 3 : Dawn of the dinosaurs is definitely a must-see. Contrary to the older movies in this trilogy, the latest addition to the collection has humour fit for both adults and children (who will of course, be oblivious to it all xD)

The 3D was great, and I loved the art direction. It really makes you feel like you're part of the story itself. Whether you're 5 or 45, I'd recommend it.

I saw it in 3D with a 10 yr. old and we had a great time. Of course it's silly, but so what?

I saw this movie with my kids.My daughter was involved throughout the whole movie. As for the adults it kept us amused and in anticipation of the next inspiring twist of humor.
