Actually, all the Jonas Brothers are good actors, which I was quite worried about. They can sing, but can they act? They definitely can. Meaghan did a terrific job as the mean girl, although the character is getting a bit old. Alyson played the nice best friend well. I wasn’t a huge fan of hers before the movie, but I really like her now. I like Maria a lot. She is also the mother of the Russo sibling in Wizards of Waverly Place, staring Selena Gomez.
One thing I didn’t like was how little they had Kevin and Nick Jonas in it. Supposedly, they weren’t originally in the movie ad were put in specifically for Kevin and Nick. Still, I loved their characters. Kevin had this really dumb character who complained throughout the movie that he wanted Joe’s character to build him a birdhouse (which he never did.) He was a little out there, but I loved Kevin’s character. He was hilarious. Nick’s character was awesome too, and I am very impressed by his acting. I was under the impression that their characters would be bigger.
Some people might say that this movie is just a High School Musical rip-off, but it really wasn’t. The major similarities was Meagan’s character trying to be Ashley Tisdale’s Sharpay Evans from High School Musical, and it’s a Disney musical movie. It had much more variety in its music (Hip hop, rock, pop, and R&B). If it ripped off anything, it’s Raise Your Voice, starring Hilary Duff. These two movies have very similar plots. However, I really did like this movie. If it had Corbin Bleu in it, I think it would have been better than High School Musical in my book.

The Jonas Brothers are awsome! Demi was great too! i've seen the movie about 3 times now!!!!! i can't wait for Camp Rock 2, i heard Frankie Jonas is going ot be in it. that will be soo cool, andNick and Kevin will have bigger parts!

The movie was horrible. The acting was terrible. This wasn't rock. I understand that the Jonas Brothers have fans even though their singing sounds like a high pitch whine, but, that doesn't mean they can act. Saying the movie was good is like saying the Elvis Presley movies of the 1960's were good. Anyone with a trained eye knows those are some of the worst movies ever made. The biggest difference is that Elvis was a good singer.

Okay - who picked the outfits the people where in this movie. They were wearing mom pants and those baggy shirts (that no teen would be caught in) and the shoulder twitch everytime they sang... horrible.
Mitchie (Demi) is terrible at being the poor girl going to camp - did you see her bedroom at the beginning??? The amount of clothes and the size of her bedroom didn't say poor little thing to me.
And ... SHE was the mean one - arrogant and nasty. The bad girl couldn't dance at all and you could see right through her 'top' in the last number - I do hope she had leggings or pants on !!

This movie SUCKS. I had been hoping to see it because I thought it would actually be good, but it was terrible. The next HSM? I don't think so! I'm not even a fan of High School Musical, but I'd pick that over Camp Rock any day. It isn't even rock music! Just the same old pop.
Listen, all of you who haven't seen it yet, don't! If you do, it'll just be a wast of time you could have spent on a GOOD movie.

Actually, I haven't seen the movie, but I know that it sucks... badly. I can't even listen to the commercials. 'The Jonas Brothers, the GREATEST ROCK BAND ON EAARTH!! GROUP HUG!!' Now I don't think Ozzy Osbourne would say Group hug, least I hope so...

the jonas brothers rock and the movie rocks all the way it might not be the best movie ever but although it is the best after tinatic and some others and no one could be as good as demi in the movie she was gr8 and i dnt care wht anyone thinks but its even better than hsm or any other disney channel movie !!!! I like the movie well enough, but is it just me or it feels they did it in a rush?? no effort.
rather than making a sequel, they should fix the first one and release it again.
also, demi can't act. joe jonas was better than her.

if yall feel the need to leave negative remarks take it some where else please..For starters everyone knows Alyson Stoner is a great dancer but her voice is a little soft, not sayings anythings wrong with it..but anyways..Demi is a great Singer mad talent and some of yall think she cant dance..Put a great Dance (Alyson Stoner) and a great Singer (Demi Lovato)together thats a very dangerous Group of mad talent..They could learn from each other!
