WarGames: The Dead Code - DVD Art, Trailer

Remember WarGames? I know I do. It was back in 1983 when the popular world was introduced to this realistic look at computer hacking. Well, maybe not completely realistic, but there was a definite grounding that felt real. Matthew Broderick played a young hacker who gets drawn into a game of thermonuclear war that turns out to be way too real. Now, twenty-five years later, we get a sequel, not a direct sequel, but a sequel that updates the story for current technology levels and the world situation (terrorist threat rather than nuclear). The trailer looks pretty good. Matt Lanter stars as the hacker, and coincidentally was born the same year the original was released.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - Trailer

David Fincher is following up his excursion into the real world procedural (the excellent Zodiac) with a tale that has a much more fantastical bent. It is The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, based on the F. Scott Fitzgerald tale from the 1920s. This film reunites Fincher with Brad Pitt, who previously starred in a pair of Fincher helmed flicks, Seven and Fight Club. The trailer is rather beautiful, very dream like, sort of reminds me of Big Fish.

Pineapple Express - Posters, Trailer

What can I say? I think this is going to be absolutely hilarious. Judd Apatow and David Gordon Green together for the first time. Here are a couple of posters for those of you who love big heads on your posters. (Also, if you want to know what the trailer song is, click here.)
