Movie Media: Star Trek, The Matrix, Race to Witch Mountain, Ip Man, Coraline, Newsmakers, Fireball, The Warrior

Part of: Movie Media

Welcome back to the Movie Media column, featuring trailers, posters, and clips for upcoming films. Some are nice and fresh and some aren't. However, they all have something in common: for better or worse, they all caught my attention. If there is a poster or trailer you think I should check out, be sure to let me know.

This week's movie goodies include posters, trailers, and stills for some feature films and even a couple of behind-the-scenes clips! Hopefully, you'll enjoy taking a gander!

Star Trek - Trailer

Yes, it does look to stray from "canon" but at the same time I do not believe it was ever intended to be canonical. First glance reveals a film that looks to be playing towards a wider audience than just Trek fans. I feel this is the right decision, if you want to bring the franchise back you have to at least try to bring back in a broad audience. In any case, I think the trailer looks like fun and I am looking forward to its release next May.

The end result is something that is funny, and surprisingly fitting. Take a look for yourself:
