Part of: Movie Media

Marvel is reviving the Punisher franchise with Punisher: War Zone, which will be arriving in theaters next September. Much like what they are doing with The Incredible Hulk, this is more of a reboot than a sequel to the Thomas Jane film from a few years back. Stepping into the skull-bearing shirt is Ray Stevenson, who is probably best known for his role of Titus on HBO's Rome. Other familiar faces in the cast include Dominic West, of The Wire and 300, who will play the villainous Jigsaw, and Julie Benz, of Dexter and Rambo, as Angela Donatelli. At the helm is Lexi Alexander who last directed 2005's Green Street Hooligans. Not much has come out, but I do have a pair of fresh new stills for you:

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian - Poster, Trailer

A few years back, Walden Media and Disney released the first Chronicles of Narnia film. It was a Christmas event and it turned out to be a big hit for the studio, officially putting Walden Media on the map. The sequel is being readied for release, and I have to say that it looks better than the first. The first was a good film, although it felt a little bit flat. This new outing seems to be more epic and exciting, and the poster reveals a sword-swinging rodent.

The Wackness - Posters

The Wackness is an upcoming comic drama starring Ben Kingsley, Famke Jannsen, Josh Peck, Olivia Thirlby, Mary Kate Olsen, and Method Man. It tells the story of a troubled teen drug dealer who trades pot for therapy from an addict psychiatrist. Their story becomes complicated when he falls for the therapist's daughter. That is the extent of my knowledge of the film. What I like is this poster. It does not really tell me all that much about the movie, but boy is it cool looking.

Possession - Trailer, Poster

The more I see of the trailer, the more I get a vibe similar to the Sandra Bullock thriller Premonition. It is clearly a different film, but the feeling is there. The trailer has moments of interest, but at the same time it does not reveal much other than the idea that the characters will never stop to have that one simple conversation that will help settle everything that is going on. I sure hope that they have a good ending. The poster has arrived and I find it to be a rather bland affair.
