My Best Friend's Girl - Red Band Trailer
This upcoming comedy now has a red band trailer. Yes, there are some funny moments here, but I still don't care for Dane Cook. On the other hand, I like Biggs in this sort of role, Kate Hudson is adorable, and Alec Baldwin in full on 30 Rock mode looks funny. I admit to being somewhat curious, but my expectations are low.
Planet of the Apes - Full Movie
No, this is not the original Charlton Heston film, but the Tim Burton-helmed remake. There are many people who do not like this movie, but I do. Hopefully you will enjoy it, too.
The Brothers Bloom - Trailer
What would you get if you crossed Ocean's 11 and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels? Probably something like The Brothers Bloom. The setup is this: two con men, who are also brothers, enter into one final con, targeting a woman with millions by taking her on an adventure around the world. Sounds simple, but the trailer looks good. I also must admit that my hopes rose when I saw that Rian Johnson is the writer/director (he made the excellent Brick). The cast is also good with Mark Ruffalo, Adrien Brody, and Rachel Weisz.
