Part of: Movie Media

Welcome back to the Movie Media column, featuring trailers, posters, and clips for upcoming films. Some are nice and fresh and some aren't. However, they all have something in common: for better or worse, they all caught my attention. If there is a poster or trailer you think I should check out, be sure to let me know.

This week's movie goodies include posters, trailers, and stills for some feature films and even a couple of behind-the-scenes clips! Hopefully, you'll enjoy taking a gander!

Notorious - Trailer

The story of the Notorious B.I.G. is set to hit the big screen in January. Now, I am not a big fan of his work or hip hop in general, not having been exposed to much of it. Be that as it may, the movie could prove to be an interesting look inside this world which has spawned so much controversy. Below is the trailer.

Tokyo Sonata - Trailer

Japanese director Kiyoshi Kurosawa has a new film on the horizon. It is called Tokyo Sonata. The trailer depicts the movie as a lyrical look into the lives of a modern Japanese family who have hidden their true feelings from each other. That in turn leads to tragedy as they begin to fall apart. I have not seen many of Kurosawa's films, but this looks decidedly different from the likes of Cure, Seance, and Kairo. I am looking forward to checking it out.

Eden Log - Trailer, Poster

Here is an interesting looking trailer. Eden Log hails from France and is a part of Magnet Releasing's Six Shooter Film Series. Magnet is the genre branch of Magnolia Pictures and this specialized series is in place to help bring foreign genre films to domestic audiences. Eden Log is a science fiction film with an interesting look. I am not quite sure as to the specifics of the plot, but I do know that a man awakens in a cave with no knowledge of how he got there or who he is, but he needs to get out as a mysterious creature tracks him.
