Quantum of Solace - Trailer
The trailer for the new James Bond film, Quantum of Solace, is here. This movie looks like it has the chance of matching the fantastic Casino Royale and we should only be so lucky. Daniel Craig looks to be kicking ass and taking names. I can't wait until November!
Blood Car - Poster, Trailer
In the future, as a reaction to escalating gas prices, a guy invents an engine that runs on blood. The title is pretty self-explanatory. The movie looks absolutely stupid. Still, I want to see it. One interesting note is that it stars Anna Chlumsky who first garnered notice in My Girl.
The Rocker - Poster, Trailer
If the poster doesn't at least slightly disturb you, you better check for a pulse. A few years ago, this is the kind of movie you would find Will Ferrell in; now we get Rainn Wilson who appears to be a suitable replacement. Wilson plays an aging drummer who was once in the world's hottest band and is now filling in for a high school band, which makes him a YouTube sensation. Looks stupid funny to me. And that is not necessarily a bad thing.
Charles Band VidCast for 7/2/08
I know what you will watch below amounts to little more than a commercial, but I still felt the desire to share it with you. If you don't know who Charles Band is, he is the man behind Full Moon Pictures and a king of low budget film making. He was behind such films as Puppet Master, Trancers, Subspecies, and Dollman. The label has had a resurgence over the years with tons of films, props, and other memorabilia available through Full Moon Direct. I recommend you check them out. I have met Band on a couple of occasions and he's quite a cool guy who clearly loves what he is doing.
