Part of: Movie Media

Welcome back to the Movie Media column, featuring trailers, posters, and clips for upcoming films. Some are nice and fresh and some aren't. However, they all have something in common: for better or worse, they all caught my attention. If there is a poster or trailer you think I should check out, be sure to let me know.

This week's movie goodies include posters, stills, and trailers for a few upcoming summer hits, a big action film for the fall, a couple of DVD releases, an upcoming horror flick, and more!

Hamlet 2 - Stills

Hamlet 2 is coming this summer, and it looks pretty darn funny. Steve Coogan stars as a high school theater teacher who must write an original show to save the program. He comes up with a sequel to the great Shakespeare play, only a little more irreverent in nature. Below are some new stills for the film.

Hellboy II: The Golden Army - Poster

The latest poster for this sequel is cool and lame at the same time. I cannot quite put my finger on it, but it screams "Hollywood!" and "Badass!" at the same time.

Mirrors - Poster, Trailer

Not sure what I think about this one yet. The trailer has a couple of creepy moments and the poster is a bit off, but it also looks like another PG-13 pseudo-horror based around jump scares. However, it is directed by Alexandre Aja and he was involved with High Tension, The Hills Have Eyes, and P2, so that helps and offers a little bit of hope. Kiefer Sutherland is also the star, so it will be interesting to see Jack Bauer in a haunted house.
