Welcome to the Movie Media column featuring trailers, posters, and clips for upcoming films. Some are nice and fresh, and some aren't. However, they all have something in common: they caught my attention, for better or worse. If there is a poster or trailer you think I should check out, be sure to let me know.
This week's movie goodies include an international poster for a Christmas opening sequel, the return of Colin Farrell to the big screen, another war-themed film, the next Harrison Ford flick, and more!
Aliens vs Predator: Requiem - Poster
Here is the Japanese poster for the upcoming Aliens vs. Predator sequel. There are plenty of reasons why this film should not or will not succeed, the biggest of which is how - ahem - great the initial pairing was. The combination of these two movie monsters has such great potential that it is a shame to see it blown on mediocre product. That extends to the posters. I cannot say that the US posters have been anything special, and neither is this one. However, this poster is better than the US posters in that it has a bit more color and kinetic energy that I like.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - Poster
It keeps getting closer and closer, the release of the new Indiana Jones movie, that is. I have not yet made up my mind of the title, though. I do like the word "skull" but the title is really long and a tad unwieldy. In the end it makes no difference, I am really looking forward to this and I do not think that Lucas, Spielberg, and Ford are going to disappoint. Here is the teaser poster for the flick, and it looks pretty darn cool.

In Bruges - Poster, Trailer
Colin Farrell is making a comeback to the big screen with a pair of films. It feels like forever since I've seen him in a film. There was a time, not long ago, when it seemed like every movie had him in it, then he disappeared. Well, this looks like a fine project to return with. It is an action comedy about a hit man who has to go cool off in Bruges, and the problems that go with it. Joining Farrell are Brendan Gleeson and Ralph Fiennes.
