The Bransens are Dad and his three golden-maned daughters, who appeared together in a Pert shampoo commercial. I'm assuming they mean the daughters were in the ad, not Dad. Then again, who knows - perhaps the family that lathers together, stays together? Mom and two other siblings have stayed at home. That decision must have meant some interesting family dinners. The girls sound very capable and tough, so there's some potential for conflict here.
The Paolos are described as bickering New Yorkers. Judging by the picture, where everyone looks startled and/or frightened, this family could be ripe for TAR notoriety. Dad is a fiercely proud Italian immigrant. Mom thinks Dad lets the boys get away with too much. The sons aren't convinced that Mom can do it. All of which sounds like a CBS sitcom pitch. Excellent.
The Godlewski girls all live within 30 minutes of each other. Which means they'll have nicely ingrained ways of relating to each other that could blow up completely under the pressure of a race. I'm especially heartened to hear that 37-year-old Christine is unable to defend herself in arguments with her three sisters. Promising.
My hot picks for can't-take-your-eyes-off-them families? You can't go past those Schroeders, the Rogers, the Linzs and the Paolos. Finally, the Aiellos could be worthwhile, especially if Dad looks for a successor to the family business and/or starts putting horse heads in beds. You heard it here first.

Excellent job teletart!
I've never caught on with TAR. I interviewed one of the Situation: Comedy writers this week, who mentioned that TAR is the realest of reality shows...

TAR rocks. It's educational and the winners tend to be well-adjusted, nice, focused, and hardworking people who actually deserve to win. Of all the reality shows, this one is the best. And yes, that can be seen as damning the show with faint praise, but TAR, unlike most of its kin, really is a worthwhile program.

Thanks for the comments! I will say that much as I love TAR, it does take longer to get going each season than other reality shows. In the tedious first weeks it seems that you're only watching the endless repetition of one task by different teams. It's better once there have been some eliminations and more tasks can fit into each hour. And once it's goin' - oooooeeeeee!

I just want to find the song they used in the final episode of TAR1. I have no way of contacting CBS, and their website is about as helpful as AOL.
