Though I've been screaming the loudest for a Scrubs' pregnancy storyline, I don't think this is the precursor. It's too big of an issue on the Night Shift right now – and while the two shows seem to be alternate realities, I think we will see a wrap-up of it at the end of the spin-off show before we actually see Robin and Patrick procreate. Though, I am anxious to see if Drake Sr., with his new rockin' lifestyle, will have any thoughts on becoming a potential grandpa.
As they usually do when they are at wit's end, Spinelli turned to Jason and Lulu to Carly for advice. Jason's sage words for Spinelli were to not underestimate the value of trust in a relationship, pointing out that Lulu knows she can trust him like no other. Carly's advice was pretty much a mirror image, reminding Lulu that friends like Spin don't come along very often. In the end, the two were able to clear the air between them.
I'm a bit disappointed Lulu and Spinelli won't be pursuing a relationship, though I'm pretty fond of the potential storyline with Lulu and Logan, especially when Tony Geary returns. Though by creating a rock-solid friendship, I guess the potential is there for the future.
At the courthouse, Ric gave Sam the opportunity to get even with Jason. He told the woman he'd recall her to the stand if she would suddenly remember hearing Jason talking about killing Lorenzo – or anyone for that matter. Sam seemed willing to comply, but once she was on the stand changed her mind and stayed true to Jason, though she got some digs in. All of a sudden, Ric's case against Jason isn't looking so good. (Is anyone surprised at all?) Look for the jury to come back with their verdict on Wednesday's show.
Warning! News and Spoilers!
- Soapzone is reporting (at the very bottom of the page) that November sweeps will again see the return of Genie Francis in the role of Laura, this time for the long haul. This is one I'm keeping my fingers crossed on. Just imagine the effects Laura will have both on the Luke/Tracy storyline as well as Lulu and Logan.

I think Spin is a little too goofy to see in a serious relationship. We've seen him sincerely heartfelt in his own weird way, but I can't picture him being overtly romantic to the point I would feel it as a viewer. The two of them romantically just don't fit.
And just for a minute, I'd like to question the Soap Opera Digest commercials on SoapNet that they run during the 10:00 GH episodes. The one I saw last night was something like: Jason is able and Liz is willing, but will Sam stop them from being together. Doesn't that kind of give away the verdict for today's episode??? I know it's been on already, but I haven't seen it yet. If Jason is acquitted, I think there may be some wisdom to my argument here.

I do see your point, Robin, about Lulu and Spinelli. I think I'm drawn to the character just because he is so different than anything else on TV, daytime or otherwise.
I also liked him in the few heart to heart scenes with Georgie, and goodness knows they are either going to have to pair her with someone or push her even further off into the landscape.
Yes, the SOD commercials do lead you to believe the verdict is Jason's trial will be not guilty, and for the record they do air them on ABC during the day as well as on Soapnet at night. This isn't the first time I've seen the magazine put 'spoilers' in their commercials.

Yeah, I'm bad. I Tivo GH during the day but usually watch it on SN at night.
Wouldn't that be cool if they paired up Spin with Georgie? I know they were hinting at that a week or so ago. That would be interesting to watch.
Ok, history question. I used to watch GH when I was younger and then took like a 10-year break. I remember the original Lucky/Liz storyline. I remember the fire and Helena kidnapping Lucky, but I think I stopped watching sometime around then.
Now, if memory serves, Maxie and Georgie were still pretty young (though I think Maxie was like 10 by then). When I started watching again last year, it seemed to me they were way older than they should've been. Am I right or am I misremembering? Over the years did they speed up the aging of these two sisters?

OTOH, I can definitely see Spin and Lulu later on. I thought it was very romantic when he fell to his knees in front of her. lol, BA is not Spinelli and characters (even shy strange ones) can grow and change. Lulu might not be attracted now, but I don't think Logan is the best choice considering what we've been watching from him on GH. As Jason said, she's going to have to figure it out on her own.

Robin, I took a long break from GH too, longer than you in fact and have only been back watching about a year and a half so I can't answer for sure if the Jones girls went through that magical aging machine or not, but it wouldn't surprise me if they had.
I sort of look for Micheal and maybe Morgan to go through an 'aging' soon. They are at that difficult age to give story to.
KSC - It's possibly down the we will see Lulu and Spin together, but I think we have a way to go before the writers exhaust the Logan/Lulu pairing.
