Kids' Choice Awards Orange Carpet Interviews - Page 2

Lucas Cruikshank, a.k.a Fred Figglehorn, was seen on the orange carpet. Fred is a crazy six-year-old who spends his time with his mom's camera. His YouTube channel has over 500 million views and he will star in Fred: The Movie, premiering on Nickelodeon later this year. He said, "I want to see everyone get slimed." He said that he got slimed once.. "It tasted like vanilla pudding." And no, he doesn't have Fred's high-pitched voice in real life.

Wizards of Waverly Place star Selena Gomez wore a yellow gown. She said it was an honor to be nominated and added, "I'm freaking out." She was unsure if she would win, because "there are a lot of talented people here." Selena won Favorite TV actress, but lost to Taylor Swift for Favorite Female Singer. Swift also took Favorite Song ("You Belong With Me"). Dylan Sprouse won Favorite Male TV Star (beating out his brother and two of the Jonas Brothers) and Jay-Z won Favorite Male Singer. Black Eyed Peas also beat the Jonas Brothers for Favorite Music Group.

Robbie Amell, who stars as Jimmy on Nickelodeon's True Jackson, VP, was one of the few people who would not like to be slimed. He said, "The actual sliming is fun, but getting it off is terrible. So annoying. It like sticks to you. Peels. You need to shower after." He wanted his co-star, Keke Palmer, or his sister, Jamie, to get slimed.

Other winners include: Miley Cyrus (Favorite Movie Actress), SpongeBob Squarepants (Favorite Cartoon), American Idol (Favorite Reality Show), Misty May Treanor (Favorite Female Athlete), Ryan Sheckler (Favorite Male Athelete), Mario Kart (Favorite Video Game), Up (Favorite Animated Movie), and Jim Carrey (Favorite Voice from an Animated Movie).

The 23rd Annual Kids' Choice Awards took place March 23, 2010 and is unique because it allows kids to pick their favorites.
