My cousin works for a well known rating company and he told me that, the rating has drop drastically after Jill left the show in certain areas of the United States. I think that they better do something quick. Whatever the problem with them and Jill should be settled real quick. You have a lot of jill fan out there who admired her work on the show.

The show is unwatchable without Jill(Toni) her character would annoy me sometimes. However, she is one of the characters the show needed to be complete. I've been watching the show since it aired and got a lot of my peeps to also watch. Now we all have done the same thing, turn the channel. Bringing her back would be the only way I would watch. The show is to silly without her!

Not really sure as to the real reason why Jill is not on "Girl Friends, but her character as well as the other three all make up the four major characters that women go through as a whole. Sometimes a woman has to be a little self centered in order to have self satisfaction.
SOME HOW SHE NEEDS TO BE INCORPORATED BACK INTO THE SHOW. SOME IS DEFFINATELY MISSING!

Tracy Ellis Ross says Jill turned down the show because the CW offered them no raise to return for the 7th season. Jill evidently made a decision to move on and good for her for showing she has value and sticking to her principles. If the CW cared enough about the show and keeping the cast intact, they could have made a counter offer. They didn't so Jill is gone. Que Sera, people, so it goes in show-biz. Get over it!

I was introduced to this argumentative, self-centred, egotistic, narcissistic, bold, brave, abrupt and in-your-face type of issues, opinionated and politically incorrect an eye opener and yet wonderful but true sitcom, by my best friends who bought it on DVD for us to watch and enjoy. It was shocking, but not intimidating and very refreshing, very explicit and warm.
The character Toni Childs, Maya and Lynn are my favourites, simple because they are extroverts much like myself, the Joan characters are shared and found in all of my friends including me. The show is something we do not have or played (acting) in this country and if they were ever to air it on terrestrial television it would be in the middle of the night!
If Jill Marie Jones left to further her career, then I wish her all the best in her search for further and fruitful success and the same for the others should they too wish to be discovered and broaden their ambitions to wider and unacquainted audience.
Things changes, life changes and so does people thinking and ambitions " I now watch the show when I am able to on ‘Trouble’ I caught an episode of the show fairly in the beginning and I was enjoying every minute of it albeit my slight concerns that the character Toni Childs is yet to appear, I was made aware when the show breaks and it appears she is missing from the cast list " yes I too was confused and thought the sitcom would now be boring to watch and psychologically I entertained this idea for awhile, but like many of the English comedic programs here it is certain watch-able even if it lack that certain sparks.
I would like to say thanks for creating such a well-written and thought provoking script of a show.

I'm watching the re-run it doesn't feel the same i think monica is the character they want to use in place of tony..plz now the show is just a show now for me its not real.. not that i think like tony or act like her i'm actually the opposite, but for a change it doesn't hurt seeing the other side of the fence and it open my eyes to the real world some times. she was a gold digger, but we all have that inner gold digger in us, she just made it her life and that was real, she reminded me of some of friends..I MISS HER LOTS, and her self confidence!!!! i loved it

I really really really really really really really rreallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy do miss toni. I couldnt wait to see the show because of tony. I like all the women and watching the show it lets me be a little bit of each women. you pick the right women, for that show. I always wanted girlfriends, and never had them but when this show came i could have those girlfrends through the show. I still look at it but it is not the same without toni.
