Does this mean we'll never get our resurrection of VH-1's Rock and Roll Jeopardy?
The future of the mega-hit Survivor seemed to be up in the air for much of the Fall Season. Jeff Probst had been heard to say that he wasn't sure if he'd be back for another season. He was tired of never being home.
Probst said in October that he was weighing whether to continue with the show. He has hosted Survivor since it debuted in summer 2000 and his current contract ends with the edition now in production.

Apparently Probst isn't so worried about "home" anymore. He just inked a multi-year deal to continue on as the host of the CBS show.
Some speculated on what would happen if Probst chose not to return to Survivor. The obvious replacement seemed to be Colby Donaldson or Jenna Morasca. However, with Jeff Probst's new contract signed, sealed, and delivered, we don't have to worry about that for a few more seasons.
The Season 11 - Survivor: Guatemala finale airs this Sunday at 8pm on CBS.
So, no. Not a chance on that Rock and Roll Jeopardy revival. Sorry, folks.

I'd just like to say that the most recent episode of survivor, where "purple" kelly and nanoka chose not to continue on the show, Jeff Probst was passive-aggressive in his treatment of both of them, and also, took to try to shame them into continuing on the show. What I initially had started to enjoy as a show has since been stopped by this behaviour that he has demonstrated. I do not think this is appropriate or called for...participation in the show is voluntary...if people have had enough...let them go quietly...what benefit is there in humiliation? perhaps other than continuing to instill that hatred of others and judgement of others in people.
I do not like what your show stands for...and think you are promoting incorrect values.
Sincerely,
