How was it?
It was great, a nice letter, from a woman in NY and sent her a signed picture. I wrote her a little note saying I understood her.
There’s a long history of sexual tension between two main characters on TV. If you had to choose between Mulder and Scully, David and Maddie, Winnie Cooper and Kevin Arnold, or Marcia and Greg, which one would be your favorite and why?
Can I pick Anne and me?
Sure, but if you had a second choice…
I’m going to go with Dave and Maddie from Moonlighting. They were pretty hot and heavy.
Favorite TV shows?
My favorites… I watch sports. I’ve been watching the American League Division series.
Favorite teams?
The Patriots. Being from New England, I’m a big Patriots fan. For baseball, that’s really tricky because I lived in NY and I love the Yankees, but I’m kind of a split personality guy – because I also like the Red Sox. When the Red Sox play the Yankees, I cry.
Well, think of it this way – either way you’re a winner.
Yeah, I guess so (laughs)
Non-sports shows?
There are so many – there’s The Sopranos. I’m really into new shows. My wife makes me watch Wife Swap.
Think she’s hinting at something?
I dunno. I never thought of it that way. (laughs)
What’s your favorite new show?
I love Studio 60. Ugly Betty's good. I love Men in Trees. There’s real sexual tension in there.
I think that’s about it. Unless you have something else you want to impart on us… Famous last words?
I’m trying to think of any wisdom I have, but nothing’s coming up. I’ll call you back at four in the morning when I think of something.
