On Beyond the Break, you play Justin Healy. In real life, are you similar to Justin?
I would say I am like Justin in a lot of ways. Justin to me, is a guy who enjoys the basic pleasures of life, good people, good food, good waves. Does not like a lot of drama in his life, even though he gets stuck with a lot, well his job is to deal with the drama.
If you could play any character on Beyond the Break, who would you chose and why?
For sure I would play Justin, to me, he is the guy, he’s been down the road, already made his mistakes in life ( for the most part,) and just wants to enjoy a simple life.
What's your most embarrassing moment on set?
My most embarrassing moment on set, well. Probably walking in from surfing at our set house, (I was done for the day), opening the gate at the house where we shoot, and walking right into rolling cameras and a scene the girls were shooting. It was quite funny actually.
Do you like being recognized by fans or does it get on your nerves?
Getting recognized by fans has its ups and downs. I mean, I am always polite and appreciative, but sometimes if you are in a rush, and someone wants to stop and chat, it can be hard. As long as they treat me with respect, I will treat them with respect and stop and chat. Besides, without fans, who will watch the show?
