I Am Comic: Sarah Silverman, Jeff Foxworthy, and Ritch Shydner Walk Into a Documentary Film...

Jordan Brady has been on stage, told the jokes, suffered the hecklers, and luxuriated in the belly laughs.

He also knows the pitfalls of stand-up comedy and comedians. So who better to chronicle their lives than one of their own?

I just finished watching I Am Comic, Brady’s funny, fast-moving tribute to the men and women who make their living analyzing their lives, picking at their own zits on stage, humiliating you, me, and that fat, obnoxious idiot who made the mistake of sitting in the front row.

More than 80 people were interviewed for the film, including comics such as: Sarah Silverman, Carlos Mencia, Jim Gaffigan, Jeff Foxworthy, Tim Allen, Nick Kroll, Kathy Griffin, Dave Attell, Janeane Garofalo, Carrot Top, Louis C.K, Roseanne Barr, Todd Glass, Iliza Shlesinger, and Phyllis Diller.

Brady began as a stand-up comedian in the early 1980’s. His first feature film, Dill Scallion, world premiered at the 1999 Slamdance Film Festival. He went on to direct three more feature comedies, including Waking Up In Reno with Billy Bob Thornton, Charlize Theron, Patrick Swayze, and Natasha Richardson. He’s also directed more than 600 national TV commercials.

Brady is touring the country with his movie, showing it at film and comedy fests, building buzz, preparing for an upcoming cable television showing and a fall DVD release.

Hear it now!JORDAN BRADY AUDIO EXCERPT: "What comes across in the movie is that standup comedians are addicted to the palpable laugh they hear from the audience, the connection they get, and some, the connection. I realized I had to do a documentary on this type of psyche."

Jordan came to THE LAUGH PACK show and captured the camaraderie on stage and backstage...he did a brilliant job covering what we do and we are proud to be a part of this very special film.
