The electrifying Theo Rossi can lay claim to starring as Juan Carlos “Juice” Ortiz on unequivocally one of the best shows in television history, the gifted visionary Kurt Sutter FX drama, Sons of Anarchy. Yet, the scintillating Rossi reigns supreme in the roles of adoring son, brother, cousin, nephew, uncle, step-son, significant other, and friend.
Recently, I had the honor of talking to and laughing with the effulgent Rossi during a telephone interview. With Halloween upon us, I wanted to share some of Rossi’s rare, candid and funny memories.
Vintage horror flicks or contemporary visual showstoppers?
Vintage. I love old movies.
Blood and gore horror or psychological thrillers?
Psychological thrillers. I love stuff that kind of messes with your mind.
Favorite Halloween movie of all time?
Halloween 1. Michael Myers. Scary shit.
Favorite Halloween candy as a kid?
Oh, the same that it is now, it’s Snickers. I love Snickers. I love Reese's Peanut butter cups, too, but definitely Snickers.
Favorite Halloween costume?
I wouldn’t even say that it was as a kid because it was kind of recent it was about eight years ago, I dressed as a Baseball Fury from The Warriors. And I loved it, that was like my favorite costume ever.
Is that what you’re wearing now?
(Laughing) Not yet.
