Word has gotten out that fans of reality show Kathy Griffin: My Life On The D-List have started an online petition to show cable TV network Bravo how much they love the D-List diva. The show is still officially in limbo, not renewed for a third season, yet not officially cancelled. Fans from Kathy Grifffin's official message board have gotten together to let Bravo know they want Kathy back for a third and longer season. The petition is still active but fifty one pages of it have been mailed priority to Bravo Audience Relations today.
Will it make a difference? Who knows? But it does reflect on the growing popularity of comedian/actress Kathy Griffin.
The show has just been nominated for an Emmy in the "Outstanding Reality Program" category, and this has brought some much-deserved attention to the self-proclaimed D-List celebrity. Her show gives viewers a glimpse into the ups and downs of a celebrity on the rise. Kathy's recent breakup with her husband of four years has fans anxious to see how her life has changed now that she is single.
Bravo would be crazy to let go of a show with such a strong and devoted following. Many have commented on the petition that they will no longer watch Bravo if Kathy Griffin: My Life On The D-List isn't renewed. The feeling is she will be back and if nothing else she should be flattered by the thousands of loyal and devoted fans who have signed a petition to show support for her and her show.
Will there be a season three? If Bravo values their audience and good programming, D-List will be back.
