The Brady Bunch Season 3 DVD captures one of the best seasons the Brady Bunch had in all of its 5 years. I had the joy of watching all 23 episodes, from the camp out in "Ghost Town, U.S.A." where they get locked in an old jail on the way to the Grand Canyon to "The Fender Bender" when Mrs. Brady has a collision that forces her 2 youngest children to testify against her.
A Paramount Pictures Production, The Brady Bunch Season 3 contains all 23 complete episodes in the 4 disc collection. It is 9 hours and 54 minutes of pure entertainment. The full screen DVD does have bad acting and the occasional "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia," but it is still classically irresistible. I was a little disappointed not to find any special features on the DVD, but still thought it was fun to watch.
As stated on the back of the DVD, " It's enough to make you break out in song...that is, unless your voice is cracking."
If I could recommend any season to get it would be Season 3 because the characters have already been established. It's right in the middle of its 5-year run so the typical sitcom problems haven't all been used yet and are still fairly fresh and interesting. If you are looking for a bunch of special features and deleted scenes this is not the DVD for you. If you can deal with the terrible acting and the 30 minute quick fix for everything then this is a great addition to anybody's collection.

thanks Malori, good point about the middle season of a series run often being the most comfortable and representative because by then they are just doing their thing.
I would like to know more about why you find this "classically irresistible" if it is also filled with "terrible acting and the 30 minute quick fix for everything" - ie, why does it transcend those limitations for you?
