As the film progresses, it seems to be many things. On the surface, it’s an interesting thriller. But scratch the surface, and it start to explore how the mind works and processes information, particularly in a dream state. Sublime raises many questions about the subconscious, such as does reality shape your dreams, or do your dreams shape your reality?
The unrated film has a 2.35.1 anamorphic widescreen transfer and English language 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound mix, as well as an English closed captioning option available (for the feature only) and removable subtitles in English, Portuguese, Chinese and Korean.
Extras include a commentary track featuring director Tony Krantz and writer Erik Jendresen, throughout most of which they discusses lighting, how shots were set and why, as well as locations, casting and script ideas.
The Raw Feed Interviews are a pair of on camera interviews, one with Krantz (18:25) and the other with Jendresen (19:29). Both discuss what Sublime meant to them and the themes of the film. The extras also include a featurette, "Surgical Exorcism" (5:18), which is, according to the packaging, “sociocultural anthropologist Dr. Falk's webcast of a live surgical exorcism in the mountains of Peru.” The final extras are a trailer for Rest Stop, animated menus, and chapter stops for the feature.
In all, Sublime offers viewers as much or as little as they want to put into it. If you don’t want to think too hard, the plot is interesting, the acting is solid and there are enough shocks to make for a good thriller. If you want to dig deeper, Sublime will make you wonder what your brain is trying to tell you when you’re asleep.
And if you watch the extras, you’ll definitely be left thinking about all that Sublime has to offer.

The-Best-Horror-Movie.com writes, "Sublime has been vilified by most reviewers across the net but the ones who like it also seem to be the ones who get it."
So if you like Sublime, you are a "thinking man." And if you don't like it, you are...what? Stupid?
This film was done in 15 days on a small budget and it shows it. What urks me the most about Sublime is that it attempts to have something that most horror films do not bother with--a theme, and it fails at this attempt.
The Liberal White, appeasing and guilt ridden will be pleased with this film, but because the main character is not particularly mean or bad as a White man--in fact he is rather a good guy--his victimization is unwarranted and hardly believeable to most viewers. It is as though the filmmaker is some freshman college student spewing some new found truth in Feminism and Oppression Studies 101.
This is what happens to White men when they go into a coma and face their guilt....
This film was a waste of my time, and, if anything, I view White appeasement with an even greater disdain than I did before. I'm sure I would be repulsed by any "thinking man" who would like this trash. A horror film for Nancy Pelosi.

This was a good movie.
You must of been stupid to not like it and understand it.
It's not a horror, it is a THRILLER.
I'd give this a 4/5 stars.
