Smallville: The Complete Seventh Season contains a good amount of extras including:
Audio commentary for "Persona" with John Glover, Ken Horton, and Todd Slavkin and "Siren" with Justin Hartley, Alfred Gough, Miles Millar, Kelly Souders, and Brian Peterson. Both commentaries combine fun banter along with interesting tidbits from the commentators involved. Last year's DVD release contained no commentaries and the fans weren’t happy about it and let the producers know that, so thanks to the fans, they’re back.
There are deleted scenes for a number of the episodes, some of which should have been kept in.
"Supergirl: The Last Daughter of Krypton" gives the history of the character Supergirl and has interviews with people involved in writing the character for both the show and the comic, and includes Helen Slater who played Supergirl in the 1984 movie and Supergirl’s mother this season. The featurette also shows how Kara has evolved from her first appearance in 1959 to today.
"Jimmy on Jimmy" is a roundtable discussion of the four actors to portray the character. We have Jack Larson from The Adventures of Superman in the 1950s, Marc McClure who was in the '70s movies with Christopher Reeve, the Superman Returns version played by Sam Huntington, and Smallville’s own Aaron Ashmore. This went over their different takes on the character and how they got their parts.
"Smallville Legends: Kara and the Chronicles of Krypton" is a flash cartoon depicting some of what happened on Krypton prior to Kara's arrival on Earth. This was similar to "Oliver Queen Chronicles" from the season six DVD release.
Finally we have "Smallville: Visions Digital Comic Book", which is a digital comic book that you can play using the DVD drive on your computer to “read” a Smallville adventure.
Smallville: The Complete Seventh Season continues the Superman mythos and is a worthy addition to the franchise.

Kristin and Michael gone, I am leaving too. I hate what the producers have done to the series. They kept the name, but it is no longer Smallville in Season 8. How could it be Smallville without Lana and Lex. It is $$$ trying to keep the cash cow going. I have supported and watched this show for 7 years to endure and the producers and writers are now turning the show into a Lois and Clark adventure. Every time I see Lois on the screen, I want to kick in the TV screen. It is just better to turn the channel and keep my TV screen intact.
