The best part about this collection is that it gives you a taste for the hype surrounding this great comedy series, and for American audiences, it is the first complete collection of the series available in one place. With rumors of an American version of the show in the works for HBO, Little Britain: The Complete Collection makes the perfect holiday gift for fans, and those curious about the show.

By hilariously mocking the lowest parts of British society (an obsession in British culture that goes beyond the TV), Little Britain has successfully shown how and why these stereotypes don't work. Even as the characters become more and more absurd, you grow to like them; in fact, Walliams and Lucas seem to say that even the most illogically extreme stereotype should get some credit. Little Britain will certainly rank up there with Monty Python's Flying Circus as one of the best British comedy series, and this collection shows exactly why.
