The bonus fifth episode revolves around Miley failing her driver’s test to get her license, but Hannah doing just fine and passing to receive her license. However when Miley is pulled over for having her turn signal on for an extended length of time, how is she going to explain her driver’s license having the name and photo of Hannah Montana? Being put in the slammer is serious business, but what occurs is highly laughable!
Of the five episodes, my favorites were “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get the Phone” and “Ready, Set, Don’t Drive.” Dwayne Johnson is delightful in his role and I love the fact that Hannah learns and understands what it’s like to be on the other side of the camera - in terms of getting those well-paid-for celeb shots. Though she sets out to do something not so good to get money, she realizes that doing what is truly right is the most important. Also, I loved the hilarity of the “punishment” that Miley/Hannah’s Dad (Billy Ray Cyrus) comes up with as punishment for Miley lying to get her driver’s license! Very clever indeed!
Geared toward young girls and tweens, Hannah Montana is a great show that is tons of fun with underlying wonderful lessons to be used in everyday life. Adults will also find Hannah Montana appealing, with Hannah’s sassy, sweet, lovable and just downright fun attitude and predicaments she finds herself in. The occasional musical clips are also full of pop and fun.
As a bonus on the Keeping It Real DVD, viewers get the pleasure of going backstage and taking a peek at Hannah Montana’s newest look in "Miley’s Makeover: Hannah Gets A New Look."
Hannah Montana: Keeping It Real is the newest in the Disney Hannah Montana compilation series collection and is great for old and new Hannah Montana fans alike. Kids will love these episodes and parents can rest easy knowing that Hannah Montana is good quality fun!
