Bender’s Game has a good amount of special features. There’s a feature-length Audio Commentary with creator Matt Groening, executive producer David X. Cohen, voice actors Billy West, John DiMaggio and Tress MacNeille, director Dwayne Carey-Hill, co-writer Mike Rowe and producer Claudia Katz. Just like past commentaries its lively, fun and intriguing track filled with reflective remarks, little tidbits and general misconduct (in a good way).
“Story Animatic for "Part One" of Bender's Game” — when these air on cable it will be broken up into four episodes. So for this featurette you get to see the first quarter of the film in a sketch format, and you see and hear alternate dialogue and scenes which in itself makes it an interesting feature.
“Futurama Genetics Lab” allows viewers to choose two Futurama characters from a select few and click the mutate button to display an amalgam of the two characters with an all new name.
“D&D&F (AKA "Dungeons & Dragons & Futurama", is a short talk with David X. Cohen, writer Mike Kaplan and Mike Rowe. These three talk about their keen memories of the game, in addition to showing several D&D-influenced scenes from earlier Futurama episodes.
There’s a couple of art related features "How to Draw Futurama in 83 Easy Steps" has several members of the Rough Draft crew and their sketches of Zoidberg, Leela and Bender. While “3-D Model Gallery” has a number of ships from the film's "Demolition Derby" sequence with commentary from several animators, in a rotating display.
There are a few short extras (under 2 minutes) to round thing out, there’s one Deleted Scene entitled "Cup or Nozzle?" which involves the kids at a treat stand, and is presented in rough animatic form and bookended by finished clips where it would've fit in. It didn’t really add anything to the film and I can see why it was cut, but it’s nice to see "Blooperama 2" is a recording session with several of the actors messing around and flubbing their lines. The best short extra has to be the “Anti-Piracy Warning” featuring Bender which is a spoof of the PSAs on the discs, but done only as Bender can do it. Finally there’s a preview for Into the Wild Green Yonder, which is the fourth and possbily final Futurama film.
