DVD Review: Friday Night Lights: The First Season - Page 2

The DVD set itself is fairly spartan, consisting of all 22 episodes, some deleted scenes, commentary, and a featurette that takes you behind the scenes of the series. This isn’t a show that needs to provide tons of bells and whistles in the form of unnecessary special features, though. Take the time to watch the pilot episode and you will be hooked. Watch almost any episode and you will likely find yourself enthralled. I used that tactic on several friends and family members and now they are loyal weekly viewers. In fact, Universal is so certain that you will become a fan, they are doing something very unique with this box set. They are guaranteeing that you will love it or they will give you your money back.

Do yourself a favor and get familiar with the residents of Dillon and check out this DVD set. Odds are that you will find yourself with a new favorite show to watch this fall. And if you don’t love it, at least you know you’ll be able to get your money back.

My DVDs showed the whole episodes. What makes you think they're only showing parts of them?
