There are two ways to check out the film: either by ordering a physical DVD, or downloading the files necessary to burn your own. My copy was via download, so I had a chance to check our their delivery mechanism through EZTakes.com. The website is confusingly arranged, but it helps if you know what you're going there for. In order to "check out", you actually have to download an application instead of managing that through the site. The application handles your download purchases as well as your basic account. I had some problems, as you're supposed to be able to burn the purchased movie from the application. It crashed every time I attempted this - I am on a Mac, running the latest version of OS X - but fortunately the actual download is a Video_TS folder that can be burned in any DVD burning application. This solution is actually more flexible than using their application anyway, so it's difficult to really complain.
The disc contents are about as bare bones as you can get. Options include playing the movie and jumping to a scene. That's it. No settings, no bonus features. But everything worked as promised and looked reasonably nice.
Overall, the Cinematic Titanic model is a nice answer to what fans have been asking for over the past several years. No, it's not quite as high quality as the original, but it makes up for it in spirit. And things should only improve as everyone shakes off the cobwebs and gets back into the swing of things. MSTies can now enjoy going down with yet another ship.
For more information on this release, as well as to order your own copy, visit the Cinematic Titanic website.

Actually, this is the third Cinematic Titanic release, not the second as is portrayed in the article.
