Season four is a roller coaster with in-fighting among the Cylon models leading to a splintering of their ideals and choosing sides. The seemingly dead Kara “Starbuck” Thrace returning, and proclaiming to know where Earth is and in the final episode of Season 4.0 (the 2nd half will be called 4.5) the Cylons and Galactica working together to find Earth. They do get there only to find its cites bombed out and that’s where we left off back in mid-June. It’s been a long road for the crew of the Galactica and its viewers, but we’ve been told the final ten episodes will reveal who the final Cylon is, and while it won’t be neat and pretty, there will be a resolution that will satisfy it loyal viewers.
Battlestar Galactica 4.0 has over ten hours of extras including Commentaries, either a PodCast, or commentary recorded for the DVD. All the commentaries have executive producer Ronald Moore telling behind-the-scenes stories and on some of the commentaries he’s joined by several producers and writers. The PodCast commentaries were originally available on Sci-Fi Channel’s Web site the day after each episode aired. You could actually download the commentary and listen to it conjunction with the episodes.
"Deleted Scenes" are all really good, but were cut for time. As the networks slot more and more commercials during their episodes, scenes have to be cut. Thankfully the DVD offers the viewers to see them here, and in all there’s almost enough scenes for an episode in itself.
"Executive Producer David Eick’s Video Blogs" has nine behind-the-scenes goodness videos that fans of the show will truly enjoy.
“The Journey” shows the path of the show from the mini-series to filming the final ten episodes with cast and crew giving their thoughts, and thanking the fans for their support. Cut in between cast and crew talking are snippets of the Battlestar Galactica panel at the 2008 Comic-Con that was MCed by Kevin Smith.

I watched the extras and wasn't impressed with "the untold story" portion or the music portion. Seemed to little. But he final 12 lineup was good. Then the wife and I sat down and watched the final episode, which is fantastic. It will be great to see the first episode this friday of 4.5 and am feeling Fracking Great about the outcome!!
