Bottom line. Not important in the long run, but still a great watch. There are lots of character bits to flesh out known characters, humanize deceased ones, and introduce new ones. It fills in continuity holes. Most importantly, it is highly entertaining, has some great acting and delivers some strong action. I absolutely cannot wait until the next season begins!
