DVD Review: A Colbert Christmas - The Greatest Gift of All - Page 2

My favorite special feature involves the time-tested video yule log, the flames growing and the wood crackling on the soundtrack as a hand comes into frame to toss books on the fire. I can tell you honestly that this will be on the television at all my Christmas gatherings. Last, but not least, is the late addition of "A Cold, Cold Christmas" a lonely cowboy music video sung against a blue screen depicting images of snowy mountain tops by Colbert.

All in all, A Colbert Christmas is like a lengthy, spirited, and Christmas-themed episode of the show so endearing it brings dire enemies, like Stephen and bears, together at last.
