I think Drake Bell and Josh Peck are amazing and their characters remind me of my relationship with my twin sister. It’s no wonder that I really enjoyed watching their TV show whenever it came on. The show recently won a Kid’s Choice Award beating scarily popular Hannah Montana which I was sure would win. Drake Bell also won the Best Actor award for the third year in a row. Needless to say, people recognize the show’s quality and make sure to set their TiVo to record whenever it’s on. Fans will be happy to know that their favorite duo is back for a Christmas movie. The full-length film will begin production in July.
Drake and Josh double as Santa and Santa’s helper at the mall. The pair tells a cute little girl that her foster family will have the “best Christmas ever,” but it’s a little hard to make the dream come true when Drake causes Josh to be arrested. That seems to happen a lot. Drake is an idiot and Josh has to pay.
The cast of the movie is sure to make the movie a hit. Drake Bell has been seen in numerous films--Superhero Movie, College, and The Neon Bible. He guest starred on Zoey 101and starred with Peck and Nancy Sullivan (Who plays Drake and Josh’s mother in the show.) Drake is also a musician and has an album Telegraph and is on the Drake and Josh soundtrack. Drake sings a lot in the series.
Drake starred with Miranda Cosgrove (who plays the boys’ little prankster sister Megan in the series) in Yours, Mine, and Ours. (Great movie by the way. It’s a remake of Lucille Ball’s version.) Cosgrove now has her own show on Nick called iCarly about a girl with a web show. It’s a fun show. I have seen every episode.
Josh Peck has many credits as well. He voiced the character of Eddie in Ice Age and Ice Age II: The Meltdown.Josh will be featured in The Wackness and The Safety Glass. Peck is one of the funniest actors on television and a natural comedian.
The show should be a complete success and I’m so excited the cast is together again to film this Christmas bash. It should be a nice addition to the already awesome franchise.
