For three seasons, the hit Nick show Drake and Josh has brought you laughs and pleasure. Well, on Sunday, September 24, it's back with season four, which promises, like all the other seasons, to be a success. It's on at 7:00 on the dot, Eastern Time. Following Drake and Josh is Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide at 7:30, and Zoey 101 at 8:00.
Drake Bell and Josh Peck star as stepbrothers who have to deal with the teenage years. Drake and Josh worked together on the Amanda Show, starring Amanda Bynes. When that ended, Drake and Josh was invented. Drake Parker (Bell) is the laid-back slacker musician. Bell sings many songs featured on the show, including the theme song. His first album is called Telegraph. Josh Peck plays good student Josh Nichols. He always tries to keep Drake out of trouble and reminds me of my sister.
Late last December, the show's cast and crew had quite a scare. Star Drake Bell had gotten in a critical car accident. From what I have read about the incident, it is lucky Bell survived. Bell was cruising in his 1966 Ford Mustang on the Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica, California. His car was hit by a Mercedes Benz. Drake was rushed to the Santa Monica hospital. Costar Josh Peck was one of the first to arrive at the scene and comfort his pal. Bell suffered a fractured neck, broken jaw, facial lacerations, and a couple of knocked-out teeth. He had 70 stitches and had to have plastic surgery and dental surgery. The good news is he didn't die.
This left the question of what to do with Drake and Josh. They had already filmed three episodes of the fourth season. Dan Schneider, producer of Drake and Josh, as well as other Nick shows such as Zoey 101, thanked fans for their support and just hoped to get back to filming soon.
