Daniel Craig Has Two New Film Trailers…But There’s No Bond in Sight

Fans of Daniel Craig may be delighted to hear the film trailers for the latest action movies he stars in are now online – but fans of 007 will have to wait if it is that particular hero they’re holding out for.

A month or so back, the Internet got its first look at a new clip of Craig in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo when a leaked version wound up on a host of film news websites websites across the world. Sony and Columbia Pictures were quick to get an official version out, along with a pretty controversial poster featuring the James Bond actor and his eponymous lead Rooney Mara.

Of course, it’s not the first version of Stieg Larsson’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo to have been released. In just 2009, a Swedish version of the story was put out featuring Michael Nyqvist and Noomi Rapace in the respective roles.

However, this new U.S. version is directed by the one and only David Fincher, the man behind Oscar-winning flicks like The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and The Social Network, making it a real awards contender. Don’t rush out to buy cinema tickets just yet though, as the new version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo won’t be in UK cinemas until December 26th.

That said, Craig has another movie due in theatres soon that promises action, thrills and much more. The latest film trailer for Cowboys & Aliens hit the web recently and gave people a good look at some of the fantastic effects set pieces they can expect. Directed by Jon Favreau, who has credits that include Zathura and both Iron Man movies, the story focuses on a small Arizona town in the late 1800s that’s invaded by a malevolent force from outer space.
