"Crossfire" shot down

There are few shows on cable news more disturbing to watch than CNN's "Crossfire". Three of the four co-hosts (Bob Novak, James Carville, and Paul Begala) are just plain unsavory. The fourth (Tucker Carlson) is a dweeb. There is, quite frankly, no one to root for.

That is why it is so heart-warming to hear that "Crossfire" has been demoted. It has been cut to half an hour, and moved from prime time to the doldrums of 4:30 in the afternoon.

However, I don't believe these changes will be enough to make the show watchable. Here are some of my suggestions to improve the quality of the show:

1-Teach Novak how to talk. It's irritating enough to listen to the guy rant and rave; must he also sound like a shit-salesman with a mouth full of samples?

2-Everytime Begala has clearly been out-debated, make him angrily jump up and down like Rumplestiltskin.

3-Someone tell Tucker to buy a real frickin' tie, for God's sake.

4-Strap a ball-gag on Carville.

I haven't watched that show since the days of Pat Buchanan and Michael Kinsley. Maybe that's the key - none of this middle-of-the-road crap. Get a communist and a fascist on there again and see what happens!
