Crash and Brokeback Clean Up At The Critics Choice Awards

Critical darlings Crash and Brokeback Mountain fared pretty well at tonight's Critics' Choice Awards, which kicked off the television awards season.

I was a bit disappointed Felicity Huffman didn't win, but Reese was great in Walk The Line. Oh well, Huffman will get her due come Golden Globe time - they're in separate categories.

Kind of embarassing though, how they cut off Ang Lee and Diana Ossana as they tried to give their acceptance speeches. Very happy for Phillip Seymour Hoffman, though it's kind of hard to be happy for any winners of the Best Actor category this year because there truly are so many good performances.

Here are the winners.

Best Ensemble - Crash

    Oh my God!!!
Crash was the greatest film last year--really makes one think doesn't it.

My roomate made the mistake of saying, "i know it was the mexican guy who robbed the 'Arab'" after the movie.
Don't worry, I put him in his place--i believe he still has an imprint on his right cheek that perfectly fits the back of my right hand palm.
