Hot off the release of the first look at Lily Collins as Snow White from Relativity Media's The Brothers Grimm: Snow White, Universal Pictures have released character promos for their own adaptation of the fairytale titled Snow White and the Huntsman.
Planned as a trilogy, the movie stars Twilight's Kristen Stewart as Snow White, Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen, Chris Hemsworth as the Huntsman and Sam Claflin as the Prince.
Probably following in the love-triangle tradition of young-adult adaptations, this movie portrays Snow White (Kristen Stewart), being trained in the art of war by the huntsman (Chris Hemsworth), providing quite a deviation from the traditional children's fairytale.
Having received a great response at the San Diego Comic Con, the movie already has set Hollywood abuzz, with a tentative release date of June 1, 2012.
The project begins filming next week in the UK.
