Futurama: Into The Wild Green Yonder is the fourth and final direct-to-DVD Futurama feature. They saved the best for last – or should I say, they saved a good one for last. I had been extremely disappointed with the three previous movies. But this one was funny. Really, really funny.
The crew are on Mars, where Amy’s father is blowing up Mars Vegas and putting up a newer, larger New Mars Vegas. A group of femi-eco-nazis is protesting the construction. Mr. Wong blows up the feminists, and in doing so, one of their necklaces landed in Fry’s skull, giving him the power to read minds. Luckily a crazy homeless guy shares this tinfoil hat with Fry, to control his new power (throughout the movie, Fry fashions the tinfoil into a wide variety of fashionable headgear). Crazy guy leads Fry to a secret society of other crazy guys, all in tinfoil hats. Dark, ancient forces have threatened to destroy the universe’s ecological reserves (including data on all extinct species). Fry is the only one who can defeat the Dark One, now that he can read minds, but cannot have his own mind read (his brainwaves are too small – watch the TV series!) Along the way, Leela and Amy join up with the feminists (along with Hermes’s wife LaBarbra and the perky blonde newscaster) and Bender has an affair with a sexy fan-dancing robot (who is also the girlfriend of the robot mafia’s don).
The Blu-ray offers crisp, clean animation with brilliant colors. There were a couple scenes on Mars where the skin tones looked off. I thought it was just the desert lighting, but then a long shot showed the correct skin tones, so I don’t know what to think. Also, I feel like some of the voice timings were a touch off. The well-mixed audio is 5.1 Dolby Digital DTS-HD.

I tnhink its great that Futurama has come to blueray, But I still think the series should be continued, I duno why they had to stop it at season 5, It was a good show and still is
