In another expected cameo, Stan Lee gains screen time as a rejected wedding guest as Sue Storm and Reed Richards are tying the knot. This is a second role in which the creator of the heroes is given a part directly lifted from the comics. The same scene appeared during the same storyline in the comics, with an obvious representation of Lee himself drawn onto the pages.
