The first endurance competition of the season looked like it could last all night. Instead, it barely made 2 hours and 15 minutes. That's good, because I wasn't ready for an all-nighter myself. Phew!
The houseguests started out laying upon a raised huge spiderweb while Big Brother glopped them with some sort of goo. By the time the show ended, Will was dancing and jumping on the web, so it could have been predicted he'd be the first to go.
He sure was... fifteen minutes after the live show ended, he claimed he "fell." But he told Janelle he did, indeed, jump – he had no desire to sit on a web and get covered with goo. The first five down got to pick one of five golden eggs. Three were prizes – a Slop-Free Week, the right to nullify one eviction vote, and $10,000. Two eggs were rotten eggs. All the houseguests decided no matter who got it, the Slop-Free Week would go to George. Will chose a rotten egg. How fitting!
The web started tilting to almost vertical. Oh... and goo kept coming. A little over an hour and a half into the competition, Janelle received an envelope from Big Brother. The houseguests were instructed to hang from the web using only their arms and legs. James fell getting into position. He got the Nullify Eviction egg. Kaysar and Mike went almost simultaneously. Kaysar got a rotten egg, Mike got $10,000. Marcellas fell next and got the Slop-Free Week. I haven't seen him give it to George. Then George came crashing down after a valiant effort.
It was between Danielle, Howie, and Erika. Erika kept begging and pleading Howie to let go. She promised him several times he was safe. More begging. More pleading. At one point, Danielle told Erika she was out and then said, "Just Kidding!" Erika swore to Howie he'd be safe if he just let go. Finally, he said, "Really, Erika? I'll be safe?" She told him yes. He dropped.
