In about 15 hours, Big
Brother 3 will be over. It's been a fun summer, watching those self-absorbed
boobs whine and cry about how they had been wronged when they simply had been
outplayed. There's been some shockers, like Lisa voting to return Amy to the
house and Marcellas refusing to take himself off the chopping block the week
he was evicted, and I never expected the final pairing. Well, I expected Danielle
in the final two... but not Lisa.
So, it's time to put my power of prediction on the line and call
how the final vote will fall tonight before I switch over to West Wing on the
TiVo. This assumes that we haven't been subjected to deceptive editing the past
two weeks.
In order of (final) eviction:
-
Lori - Votes for Danielle. Lori's fortunate that she was
evicted so early in the game that no one really got a chance to rag on her
in the Diary Room. Sure, she and Danielle had it out over Bathroom-Gate,
but the profile from two weeks ago made it appear that Lori didn't have
any hard feelings. I expect that Lori will vote for the best player, and
that's one for Danielle.
-
Tonya - Votes for Lisa. Tonya was part of the original Gang
of Six along with Lisa, and her retrospective last week made it clear that
she wasn't happy with Dani's hooker references. This one's pretty simple,
a vote for friendship and also out of spite. -
Eric - Votes for Lisa, neutralized by Danielle. I'm assuming
that each of the finalists will be able to block one Jury vote like last
year, so Danielle would be smart to take Eric's vote out of the game. Eric
should vote for his girlfriend Lisa, especially after his comments at the
end of her live Internet chat. He even flew into the Los Angeles to be there
should she have been evicted on Thursday. -
Josh - Votes for Danielle. If there's anyone who would appreciate
a good player, it would be Josh. He stated on his eviction that his entire
annoying routine was an act, and even though I don't believe him I can see
how it would work in Danielle's favor. He's one of the few players would
would be able to look at the game rationally, instead of an emotional "I
can't believe Danielle said that!" state. -
Chiara - Undecided. This is a hard one to call. Chiara's
not known to be the forgiving type, but odds are that she'll still hold
a grudge towards Lisa for not supporting her... or she'll be angry at Dani's
comments. I simply don't know. -
Gerry - Undecided. Yes, I'm wimping out on him but I simply
can't pick a side. And, he had an unanimous eviction so the votes won't
be an issue. He's a teacher, he's looking at the game logically and will
probably side with Dani's playing. Or, he might cast his vote against the
"Dark Side" and support Lisa. I don't know. -
Roddy - Votes for Lisa. Do you honestly think that arrogant
asshole will actually vote for Danielle after she campaigned against him
for weeks on end and called him "The Devil"? No. Way. In. Hell. -
Marcellas - Votes for Lisa. He said that quite clearly in
his exit interview that he's supporting Lisa. -
Amy - Votes for Lisa. She said in her interview that she's
supporting Danielle, but post-eviction posts have shown that she's changed
her tune. Amy's pretty darn emotional almost all of the time, so I'm sure
she'll fight back at Dani's comments by voting against her. -
Jason - Votes for Danielle, neutralized by Lisa. At least
Lisa finally figured out what was going on between Danielle and Jason, unlike
Amy and Marcellas who were clueless until the very end. And knowing his
personality, Lisa has to know that he'll likely vote for Danielle. So, she
should take his vote out of the game.
So, let's tally the votes:
- Danielle - Lori, Josh, (and Jason)
- Lisa - Tonya, Roddy, Marcellas, Amy, (and Eric)
- Undecided - Chiara and Gerry
Unless Chiara and Gerry vote for Danielle, Lisa will win. If I were to hazard
a final guess, Gerry will vote for Danielle and Chiara will vote for Lisa making
Lisa the victor (5-3). Either way, Lisa's in the clear. It could come down to
America's Choice, but I hope it doesn't. We've seen how bad America can be in
the first edition of Big Brother, so I hope that we stay out of the proceedings.
