Just watched another amazing battle between this two white boys on HBO. They've now had three bruising fights, and this one was nearly equal to the first bout and quite a bit better than the second. That first one, though, was one for the ages.
These guys are both just incredibly tough. Gatti broke his right hand in each of the last two fights, yet managed to stay in the fight, and even kept throwing it. I think I'd have trouble typing with a broken hand, much less punching another man in the face with it.
Unfortunately, this is the last fight for Ward. But the HBO guys were really talking up a possible fight with another Canadian for Gatti, saying that their styles would really mesh and it could possibly be just as good. I certainly hope so.

Hey Matt.
Why are you calling them boys? They are both men. Also, why do you have to point out that they are white? Does their skin color have some signifigance to you? If yhey had been black would you have called them boys?
Just thought I would ask.

lol, Arturo Gatti is NOT white. I saw him fight Oscar Delahoya and we had a good laugh because Arturo Gatti was being hailed as the "white" guy and Oscar as the non-white guy. Arturo Gattie was a shade darker than Oscar and Oscar has caucasian features, where Gatti looks like he has an aboriginal mix somewhere. Social perceptions are funny.
