The one I'm lovin' and pause to watch? Well, the one where the two men are in the locker room each bragging about the features on the phone. One claims it's also a theft deterrent in addition to phone, videos, etc. To prove it, he tells the other to try to steal his wallet. Then he throws the phone at him, thunking him in the head. Heh. Each time I see that commercial and the end listing the features ending in *theft deterrent, I have to smile. The only way they could improve that one is to have the trench-coated Sprint Dude appear.
As for the merge with Sprint and Nextel, you don't want to know what I think of those darn walkie-talkie things while I'm commuting on the train to work. If I could ban a product, I would. Are people reliving their childhood adventures with those or what?
Sprint ads - love 'em or hate 'em or just don't care? What say you? Should the Sprint Dude return?

My first wireless service was with Sprint. The service was terrible. Their ad campaigns aren't much better. Though they are slightly less annoying than those stupid "can you hear me know" ads Verizon floods the airwaves with.

Am I totally alone in this? I found the Sprint "Crime Deterrent" commercial horribly offensive!
Just imagine all the kids who will see that commercial and think that's okay to start hurling cell phones at people because it's "funny." Oh, my gosh! What an outrageously violent message to be sending our kids.
When I first saw this commercial yesterday, I was ready to call up Sprint and cancel my account. I'm seriously thinking of changing my provider.
A quick glance on the net shows that most people are loving this commercial. Am I the only one to be so offended?

I went from "yay!" to "boo!" with the campaign for something-or-other (not a good thing when you can't remember the product...) that was so easy to use, even a cave-man could do it.
Yay! was for the cave-guys first seeing the "even a cave-man" commercial, and reacting. "That's not right!"
Boo! is for the passive-aggressive cave-guys being taken to lunch as an apology. "I'm not really very hungry." Boy, I flinch every time I hear that.
Maybe it's a guy thing. Cave-man "not-hungry", you sound like a sullen teenage girl annoyed that Daddy won't let her have a real Margarita with lunch. Time to move on.

Jan, that has got to be the most ridiculous thing I've read in a long time. You're offended by the Sprint commercial because you believe it promotes youth violence? Well, if "all the kids" are stupid enough to do everything they see on commercials then I think the Sprint ad is the least of your worries. Instead of being offended by a commercial, how about you do something more productive with your life like be a volunteer mentor for children or something like that? Who knows, with your vision and wisdom, you might be able to prevent dangerous cell phone violence in your community! Think about it, Jan.

Regarding the "violent message", thats ridiculous. I agree with Scuba Steve. Besides, life is much better when you're not pissed off, especially about a commercial you have no power to change. Earn enough money to market your own commercial, then you can say what you like to the public.

I too was extremely disturbed by the violence in that Sprint crime deterrent commercial. It actually makes me flinch and when it comes on I have to look away!!!!
The guy gets hit in the head so hard he falls. Why is that necessary?
Another Sprint commercial please.................

I just LOVE the Sprint guy in the trenchcoat..."fiddle my daisyheads" is one of the funniest commercials, ever. Maybe with cell service improving in (some) areas, the call quality isn't so much an issue, but those commercials were genius! Bring back the Sprint guy with his "impossible to rattle" attitude!! And no, the theft deterrent commercial didn't offend me either - I just feel sorry for anyone who didn't "get" its over the top comedic bent.

what about the sprint commercial where one cowboy keeps punching the other cowboy. this is the stupidest of all time. and it plays constantly. I rush to the remote to change channels.

Sprint is famous for its violence-promoting and male-bashing commercials.
