Reality TV World has the story here. Given how little Scott Savol's criminal past, involving domestic issues with his girlfriend, I don't see this hurting Bo too much at all. He wouldn't be the first rock star to be caught with Mary Jane or cocaine, right?
- "...arrested twice in Alabama on drug possession charges: once in June 2001 for possession of cocaine and once in July 2003 for possession of marijuana. Although both charges were dismissed, Bo pled guilty to public intoxication and possession of drug paraphenalia charges that arose out of the 2003 arrest and paid a total fine of $600."
The guy is supremely talented, and I would be shocked if his fans hold this against him. I am sure that Fox is thrilled with this revelation, however, as it just continues to create more buzz and intrigue into an already overhyped show. I don't think this even prevents him from becoming President, let alone the next American Idol!
The Smoking Gun has it covered as well.

Couple of comments:
1) Next time, would you maybe include a quote from the original story that gives the meat of the issue; it's great to provide a link, but in order to find out one crucial detail, I had to wait 5 minutes while some piece-of-shit, overdesigned, underedited web page loaded.
Thanks in advance,

PS: For those who don't want to link over to the advertisement-o-thon, the drugs in question were:

Is anyone really SHOCKED about this? The guy looks like he's 50! He's more banged up than Evel Knievel.
